Jump the “trap” when you negotiate with your artificial grass suppliers (1)
This article summarizes the common “routines” of lawn suppliers and how we can counter them.
It’s a common pattern
1. Delivery date, the lawn supplier will promise you to deliver the goods within 4 weeks (FOB Qingdao/Shanghai/Tianjin). Still, when the time comes, the supplier will have all kinds of reasons to say that they can not deliver the goods, the rest is only you angry and helpless, after complaining to the supplier, wait for the supplier to promise you a new delivery date. In fact, both sides are responsible for this happening, so here’s what to do:
1) follow up regularly with your suppliers and let them know that I will follow the process. Don’t wait for that node to follow up, and there will only be one outcome waiting for you.
2) any concluding conversation with the supplier is confirmed by email, and records are archived on both sides.
2. When you receive the goods and find a problem, the promised solution in writing is usually different from the supplier’s practical solution. When you find out, the supplier has all kinds of reasons for you to listen.
The only thing for the client to do is keep track of how the response is being implemented, keep track of it in the mail, keep track of it, and stand your ground if you see any inconsistencies, supplier quiet about the reasons.
